History 4: The First Divers
We would like to find out who were the first sports divers to visit the James Eagan Layne so below we have listed some of the earliest known dives. Kendall McDonald has said that the site was first visited by sports divers in 1954 but we don't yet know the names of those divers. If you dived this wreck soon after it sank then please contact us.
